FOR EMILY

Screened in New York City - April 30th & May 1st 2005
Produced by RoadTripPictures and RenegadePlayers(Canada)- Directed by Tom Faber - 18 minutes: Nominated for BEST DIRECTOR and BEST DRAMA at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.

Canadian Premiere - November 2, 2005. Cktimes.ca: "Film premiere could herald birth of local movie making industry."

John Gardiner of Cktimes.ca: "I must say a few words this week about Tom Faber and Michael Pugh, who collaborated to produce the 19-minute dramatic film "For Emily". I attended the public screening of this film last Wednesday evening at the Chatham Cultural Centre and it was a first-rate event. Tom and Michael share a common dream of bringing moviemaking to Chatham-Kent. An intriguing idea and not that far-fetched if you really think about it. Huge congratulations to Tom Faber on the quality and dramatic impact of his film. Considering the project was done for about 500 bucks, this is Academy Award quality. Wow! I was really blown away and hope to be able to work with these guys in future to help get things going in Chatham-Kent. Way to go, guys! Way to go! Another bright idea right here in Chatham-Kent.
